Curriculum

The department's educational goal is to cultivate multidisciplinary professionals in multimedia and game development. The curriculum sets annual goals, and the freshman-to-senior year curriculum builds from fundamentals to practical application, gradually guiding students to demonstrate successful learning. Freshman year courses build foundational skills; sophomore year courses offer specialized electives; junior year focuses on professional integration and teamwork training; and senior year provides practical development and results verification.

The curriculum is structured around the concept of diversified professional curriculum, primarily divided into "core courses" and "specialized courses." Through these shared core courses, starting in the sophomore year, students will develop a series of plans for their graduation project, simulating the cross-departmental collaboration required for industry projects. Through the "Graduation Project," students will integrate their "Interactive Games" and "Visual Creativity" disciplines to create interactive digital multimedia experiences that showcase optimal interactivity and creative vision.
